On Wednesday, April 9th, the students of room 4 elected to wear a pink item of clothing to show that we are not bystanders, we will stand up to bullying. We have read many books that deal with the subject of bullying and have had several meaningful class discussions about the topic. In order to express how we feel, the students of room 4 made a video that is our message to bystanders, who we feel have the potential to turn things around. To do our part we must stand up and speak out. We have used the song "Brave" by Sara Bareilles as our inspiration, as we found her lyrics supported the things we wanted to say.
